For nearly a decade, pottery has been both my creative practice and a place of healing. I began working with clay during a period of depression, and its calming, tactile nature gave me space to quiet my analytical mind and simply exhale.

While raising my children and teaching at Village Studio and Gallery, I spent years discovering my artistic voice. Today, my work reflects the many parts of who I am. My large-scale pieces represent the beauty and complexity of life. My whimsical creations reveal my playful nature, while my home collection expresses my desire for safety, belonging, and spaces where memories can be made.

After my divorce, I gave my collection a name: EA Coterie. "EA" stands for Ella Addison, and "Coterie" represents my people - a community connected by a shared love of art. What began as a personal refuge has grown into a new chapter: leaving my corporate career to build Village Studio and Gallery, a creative home where art and community can thrive.
